Bausch & Lomb Volunteers Help at SDI

SDI Trainer achieves ADI certification

Support Dogs, Inc. is an accredited agency with Assistance Dogs International (ADI).  Likewise, our assistance dog trainers have the opportunity to meet certain criteria, take tests, and track the dogs they have trained to receive certification through ADI.  This is a strict and time-based process.  Assistance Dog trainer Katie Ruiz met these requirements, took the test, and last Friday, we received award notification that Katie is now a certified trainer with Assistance Dogs International.

According to ADI, “ADI instructor certification represents a significant achievement and is indicative of…strong commitment to upholding the highest professional standards of excellence within the Assistance Dog Industry.”

Congratulations to Katie for her very hard work!

Congratulations to the new TOUCH graduates

Support Dogs congratulates the 27 new teams who graduated last night.  We are so glad they have joined the program and we wish them all the luck in their new endeavor.
